Scots Gaelic singer and teacher, Sine McKenna, has been sharing her passion for Highland heritage for over 35 years. Although she grew up in Montreal, she was immersed in Celtic music from a young age. Her Mother, Anne, is an accomplished musician and her Father, Kenneth, a singer and historian. Since the early 70s Sine and her parents have been working together to raise awareness of the precious legacy of Highland culture in their present home, Glengarry county, Ontario.

As a solo singer, she has performed on both sides of the Atlantic on radio and television and also as lead singer with the Montreal based Celtic group Phenigma. In 1999 she co-founded The Daughters of Glengarry, a Gaelic music ensemble who performed throughout eastern Canada and Scotland.
