The Birth of "Folk at the Oak" !

This coming Sunday afternoon (9th March 2014) sees the birth of a new Folk Club in town, Folk at the Oak. I am hoping to hold a 'get-together' on the second Sunday of the month for the next 4 months to gauge the interest. It is upstairs at the Royal Oak pub on Echo Drive (Pretoria Bridge). Whether you are a performer or listener, you are welcome to come along, starting at 2 pm and hoping to keep it going until 4 pm at least. There will be a sign up list for those who want to perform and each person/group will have 10-15 minutes to sing or play. I'm hoping the material will be slanted towards a traditional/familiar/established repertoire. It will be acoustic unless this proves to be impractical. It's FREE!

Hope to see you there. Feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be interested.
Thanks,
Neville Miller
