Saturday May 12 at 8pm, in the Catholic Church, Celtic music is front and centre with Philadelphia based, renowned Irish folk singer Gerry Timlin returning to Glengarry for this special evening. Over the years he has shared the stage with The Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, Paddy Reilly, Alisdair Fraser and The Battlefield Band to name but a few. Gerry will be joined in this concert by some of Glengarry’s finest including Denis Carr, Paddy Kelly, Ashley MacLeod, Kelsey McDonell and Paddy Maher - a talented musical combination worthy of Carnegie Hall.
This event is part of the Maxville MusicFest. This grass-roots community festival will be hosting its fourth edition May 11th – 13th, and with each successive year, interest in the festival continues to grow due to its diverse professional concert series, hosted in each of the four historic village churches.
