The Ottawa Celtic Choir - Performance - 27 Oct 2011

The Ottawa Celtic Choir will have their first performance of the season on October 27, 2011 at Ottawa University, as part of the 20 Years of Teaching the Irish Language conference:

The concert is open to members of the general public.

Admission: $30.00

For this you will be regaled by the Celtic Choir, watch a play (in Irish, but a synopsis is available in English) , based on an award-winning production (Oireachtas 1979) and directed for us by award-wining director, John P. Kelly, and performed by local actors, from Ottawa, Brockville, Kingston and Montreal. There will also be the book launch of Padráig O' Siadhail's new novel.

Any musicians who come are welcome to join in the siamsa that we will have at the end of the evening.

There will be a cash bar and free snacks available.
